Softball Recap: St. Helens Wins Going Away Against Stayton

St. Helens won the last time they faced Stayton and things went their way on Wednesday too. Everything went the St. Helens Lions' way against the Stayton Eagles as the St. Helens Lions made off with a 12-1 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

Maddy Lahey was incredible, going 3-for-5 with one home run, four RBI, and one stolen base. Madelyn Hancock was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

St. Helens' win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Helens will face off against Banks at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Stayton, they will hit the road for the first time this season to square off against Molalla at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
