Soccer Game Preview: Rocky Mountain vs. Eaglecrest + How To Watch

The Rocky Mountain Lobos will venture away from home to face off against the Eaglecrest Raptors at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.

If Eaglecrest heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when Rocky Mountain took over last week. The Lobos came out on top against Horizon by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Eaglecrest was forced to settle for a draw. They and Smoky Hill finished up their match with a 1-1 draw on Tuesday. The outcome might've been different if Giovanni Valdez hadn't been hit with a yellow card, which no doubt limited his ability to make aggressive plays down the stretch.

Eaglecrest's goal came courtesy of Sebastian Plata, who's now up to three this season.

Eaglecrest's draw makes their record 1-8-1 this season. As for Rocky Mountain, they picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 3-4-2.

Rocky Mountain came out on top in a nail-biter against Eaglecrest when the teams last played back in October of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lobos since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
