Baseball Recap: Excelsior Classical Academy Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Excelsior Classical Academy's offense. They came up short against the Oxford Prep Griffins on Wednesday, falling 17-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Griffins this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 on Wednesday.

This is the second loss in a row for Excelsior Classical Academy and nudges their season record down to 1-4. As for Oxford Prep, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-2.

Excelsior Classical Academy has already played their next game, a 7-0 defeat against Vance Charter on the 14th. As for Oxford Prep, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-4 victory against Kerr-Vance Academy on the 18th.
