Headland took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They came out on top against Pike Liberal Arts by a score of 50-38. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Rams as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Carroll waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Tigers as they made off with a 76-51 victory. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 22 points or more this season.

Carroll has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.8 points per game. As for Headland, they now have a winning record of 10-9.
