Baseball Recap: Pickering Takes a Loss

Pickering was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 17-0 to the Anacoco Indians. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Red Devils of the 11-6 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2019.

Pickering's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Anacoco, they picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 3-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pickering will challenge East Beauregard at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Pickering is facing East Beauregard at the right time seeing as East Beauregard is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Anacoco, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Northwood at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Northwood will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Anacoco surely won't give up without a fight.
