Volleyball Recap: Putnam Vo-Tech Takes a Loss

Putnam Vo-Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Longmeadow Lancers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lancers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in April.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-14, 25-12.

Chris Bousquet had an outrageously good game for Longmeadow as he had 16 digs and six aces. That's the most aces Bousquet has posted since back in May of 2024. Brendan Wujek also deserves some recognition as he had his first dig of the season.

Putnam Vo-Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Longmeadow, they pushed their record up to 9-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Putnam Vo-Tech is set to face off against their familiar foe Central at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Longmeadow will challenge rival Frontier Regional at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
