Basketball Recap: Anderson Christian Lions vs. Richard Winn Academy Eagles

Anderson Christian lost against Richard Winn Academy back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Anderson Christian Lions were beaten by the Richard Winn Academy Eagles 61-33. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

It was another big night for Charlie Bonds, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and 13 rebounds for Richard Winn Academy. The dominant performance gave Bonds a new career-high in points. Bennett Nicholson was another key player, putting up nine points along with five rebounds and five steals.

Anderson Christian's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-2. As for Richard Winn Academy, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
