Volleyball Recap: Pleasant Grove Comes Up Short

The Pleasant Grove Spartans came up short against the West Blocton Tigers on Thursday and fell 3-1.

Pleasant Grove's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for West Blocton, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pleasant Grove will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Tarrant at 6:00 p.m. on September 9. As for West Blocton, they will be playing at home against Bibb County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
