Volleyball Recap: Minster Comes Up Short

Minster lost against Adena back in September of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 2-1.

Minster's offense was headlined by Anna Kohne and Kiersten Williams, who picked up ten kills apiece. They got some help from Lauren Tyler and her 36 assists. Audrey Meyer controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Adena was led to victory by Kortney Sowers and Kimmy Dalton. Sowers had six digs and three aces, while Dalton had 14 digs. That's the most aces Sowers has posted over her last six matches.

Minster's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Adena, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Minster will host St. Henry at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Adena, they will face off against Westfall at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
