            Basketball Recap: Wiregrass Ranch Bulls vs. Calvary Christian Warriors        
        
		
        
        
            Wiregrass Ranch entered their  match against Calvary Christian  on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Wiregrass Ranch Bulls fell  80-73 to the Calvary Christian Warriors.

Several Bulls players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Donovan Gaines, who  went 9 for 22  on his way to 20  points. The  contest was  Gaines' third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kj Smith, who  posted 17  points and five  assists.
 Even though they lost, Wiregrass Ranch  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 15  offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least 11  offensive rebounds in three consecutive  games.
 Calvary Christian found their leader in sophomore  Madden Geiger, who  earned 33 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most  points  Geiger has scored all season. Another player making a difference was  Ethan Bergantino, who  put up 13  points.
Wiregrass Ranch's loss  ended  an  11-game streak of wins at home  dating back to last season and  dropped them to 12-5. As for Calvary Christian, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won ten of their last 11 matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 14-2 record  this season.
 Wiregrass Ranch will look to defend their home court  on Friday against Gaither  at 7:30  p.m. As for Calvary Christian, they will head out on the road to  face off against  Mitchell  at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
