Basketball Recap: South Side Takes a Loss

South Side lost against Neshannock back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The South Side Rams came up short against the Neshannock Lancers, falling 58-37. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 411th, while the Lancers are ranked 73rd).

South Side has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-8 record this season. As for Neshannock, they pushed their record up to 15-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road.

South Side has already played their next game (against Union Area), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Neshannock has also has no score uploaded for their next match, this one against Laurel.
