Baseball Game Preview: Santiago Sharks vs. Roosevelt Mustangs

The Santiago Sharks will head out to face off against the Roosevelt Mustangs at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Santiago's pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so Roosevelt's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Santiago will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up two runs on Friday, then bounced right back against Great Oak on Saturday. The Sharks put the hurt on the Wolfpack with a sharp 12-5 victory. The Sharks haven't had any issues with the Wolfpack recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Roosevelt won against Alta Loma last Saturday with four runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. The Mustangs beat Long Beach Poly by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 4-1. The victory was nothing new for the Mustangs as they're now sitting on four straight.

Santiago's record now sits at 10-5. As for Roosevelt, their record is now 10-6.
