Basketball Recap: Braylen Braham's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Champion over Windham

Champion was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 67-55 to the Windham Bombers. The Golden Flashes were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bombers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Champion's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Braylen Braham, who almost dropped a double-double on 15 points and nine boards. Mike Miller was another key player, putting up 11 points and seven rebounds.

Champion's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Windham, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-7.

Champion has already played their next matchup, a 58-38 defeat against Crestview on the 31st. As for Windham, they will square off against Chalker at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Windham is facing Chalker at the right time seeing as Chalker is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
