Softball Recap: Redwood Christian Takes a Loss

Redwood Christian lost against California School for the Deaf two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Redwood Christian fell just short of California School for the Deaf by a score of 8-7.

Rachel Hendren and Savannah Hendren stepped up to the plate in a big way. Rachel went 2-for-4 with four RBI, one run, and one double, while Savannah went a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Mady Krowicki was another key player, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one stolen base and one RBI.

Redwood Christian's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for California School for the Deaf, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-3 record this season.

Redwood Christian didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 11-10 victory against The Bay School on the 20th. As for California School for the Deaf, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 13-3 defeat against St. Joseph Notre Dame on the 16th.
