Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Canisius). They put the hurt on the St. Francis Red Raiders with a sharp 89-67 victory on Tuesday. The Crusaders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matchups by 20 points or more this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Canisius to victory, but perhaps none more so than Patrick Enright, who went 6-for-8 on his way to 15 points and five boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Nicholas Purdie, who went 7-for-15 to rack up 17 points and five rebounds.
Canisius smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in eight consecutive games.
