Baseball Game Preview: Rockwall Yellowjackets vs. Wylie Pirates

For the second straight game, Rockwall will face off against Wylie. The Yellowjackets will take on the Pirates at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Rockwall is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They put the hurt on Wylie with a sharp 9-2 win. The Yellowjackets not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since March 20th (when they won 11-0).

Blake Phillips spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on six hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.
