Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jasper). They were the clear victor by a 77-52 margin over the Pike Central Chargers on Friday. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Chargers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Lane Frederick and Nate Davis certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Frederick to rack up 17 points in addition to five assists and five rebounds, while Davis en route to 20 points. Those 17 points gave Frederick a new career-high. Cameron Roy was another key player, putting up three points.

Jasper's win bumped their record up to 8-13. As for Pike Central, they dropped their record down to 1-21 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Jasper will head out to square off against Bedford North Lawrence at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Pike Central has already played their next contest (against South Knox), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
