Football Game Recap: Mt. Blue vs. Hampden

After having lost a blowout to Greely in their previous game, Mt. Blue were happy to find some success on Friday. Mt. Blue enjoyed a cozy 44-28 victory over Hampden. That result was just more of the same for Mt. Blue, who also won the last time these teams played.

Mt. Blue's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 26 points in the first half. Hampden put up 12, so the score was 26-12 at the half. The offense for Mt. Blue continued to do well in the second half, scoring another 18 points to put the game away. The win bumped their record up to 2-1. Hampden are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-3.

Next week Mt. Blue take on Brewer at 7:00 PM. Hampden will look to defend their home turf against Messalonskee at 7:00 PM.
