Softball Recap: Lyon County Lyons vs. Trigg County Wildcats
Lyon County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 13-5 to the Trigg County Wildcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Lyon County of the 10-6 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April.
Courtney Collins made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two RBI and a double. Another player making a difference was Emma Brasher, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
Lyon County's loss dropped their record down to 14-20. As for Trigg County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-13.
As of now, neither Lyon County nor Trigg County have any future games scheduled.
