Soccer Recap: Scranton Prep Takes a Loss

Scranton Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wallenpaupack Area Buckhorns. Scranton Prep fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against Wallenpaupack Area since Wednesday.

Scranton Prep's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Wallenpaupack Area, they moved to 7-6-1 with that win, which also ended their three-match losing streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Scranton Prep will host Mountain View at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Wallenpaupack Area, they will be playing at home against Elk Lake at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
