Holy Ghost Prep lost to Neshaminy back in November of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Firebirds came out on top in a nail-biter against the Skins, sneaking past 66-64. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Firebirds.

Several Skins players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Logan Gale, who went 9-for-19 on his way to 21 points along with five boards and three steals. The contest was Gale's third in a row with at least 21 points. Another player making a difference was Eriq Gold, who posted ten points.

Holy Ghost Prep has also opened the season with a perfect 2-0 record. As for Neshaminy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Holy Ghost Prep has already played their next matchup, a 64-62 loss against Pope John Paul II on the 6th. As for Neshaminy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 64-59 victory against Whitehall on the 6th.
