Softball Recap: Montclair's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Montclair extended their winning streak to three on Saturday, bumping their season record up to 6-3 in the process. They came out on top against the Glen Ridge Ridgers by a score of 5-2. That's more bragging rights for the Mounties, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

As for Glen Ridge, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.

For Glen Ridge's part, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Siri ?Socks? Krabbe, who went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Montclair will host Millburn at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Glen Ridge, they will square off against Payne Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Ridgers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lions have averaged an impressive 10.5 runs per game this season.
