Basketball Recap: Harlan Beats Blair for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Harlan won against Kuemper last Monday with 63 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Harlan Cyclones took down the Blair Bears 63-48. That's more bragging rights for the Cyclones, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Several Bears players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kate Wulf, who posted 21 points. The dominant performance gave Wulf a new career-high in points. Addie Sullivan was another key player, putting up 13 points.

The victory (which was Harlan's fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-3. As for Blair, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Harlan and Underwood will face off at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Blair has already played their next game (against Lincoln Northwest), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
