Baseball Recap: Ada Comes Up Short

Ada was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 10-1 to the Allen East Mustangs. If the Bulldogs were looking for revenge after losing 12-2 to the Mustangs when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Andrew Allen was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one triple and one run. That triple marked the first that he has hit this season.

Ada's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Allen East, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ada will face off against Riverdale at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Allen East, they will square off against Minster at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Wildcats' pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so the Mustangs' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
