Basketball Recap: Troy Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Troy can now relate to. They lost 60-40 to the Columbia Blue Devils on Friday. The Flying Horses have struggled against the Blue Devils recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Troy's loss dropped their record down to 15-7. As for Columbia, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-3.

Troy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Columbia, they will challenge Averill Park at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Columbia knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten games -- so hopefully Averill Park likes a good challenge.
