Soccer Recap: Jackson Christian Comes Up Short

Jackson Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 5-3 to the Brighton Cardinals.

Bryan Hart and Matthew Edwards scored all three of Jackson Christian's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

Jackson Christian's loss dropped their record down to 3-5-1. As for Brighton, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-5-1.

Looking ahead, Jackson Christian will welcome Hardin County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hardin County will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Jackson Christian surely won't give up without a fight. As for Brighton, they will head out to square off against Munford at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
