Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Frederick). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Thornton Trojans 57-13 at home. The Golden Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by 34 points or more this season.

Gavin Ishmael was his usual excellent self, throwing for 297 yards and six touchdowns while completing 90.9% of his passes. Sonny Delpizzo did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 113 receiving yards.

Frederick now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Thornton, they dropped their record down to 0-5 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Frederick didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 41-7 victory against Loveland on the 4th. As for Thornton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 66-23 loss against Sand Creek on the 4th.
