Basketball Game Preview: Winter Warriors vs. Cornell Chiefs

Winter is 9-1 against Cornell since December of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Winter Warriors will take on the Cornell Chiefs in a holiday battle at at 7:15 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with eight consecutive losses dating back to last season for Winter and 11 for Cornell dating back to last season.

Last Tuesday, Winter took a blow against Bruce, falling 100-58.

Meanwhile, Cornell might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Flambeau an easy 56-34 win.

Winter's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Cornell, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.

Everything came up roses for Winter against Cornell in their previous matchup back in January, as the squad secured a 94-38 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Winter since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
