Basketball Recap: Mercer Takes a Loss

Mercer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 52-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tri-County Mustangs. That's two games in a row now that the Cardinals have lost by exactly 11 points.

Mercer's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Tri-County, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mercer will be home for the holidays to greet Linn County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Tri-County, they will host St. Joseph Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
