Football Game Recap: Southeastern RVT vs. Nantucket

Southeastern RVT entered their contest against Nantucket on Saturday without any home losses -- but there's a first time for everything. Southeastern RVT suffered a grim 6-33 defeat to Nantucket. The state rankings had actually given Southeastern RVT a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.

The defeat dropped Southeastern RVT's record to 4-2. Nantucket's victory brought them up to 5-2.

Southeastern RVT will have some time to rest before their next match, which is against West Bridgewater in five weeks at 10:00 AM. Southeastern RVT have seen their point totals decreasing over the past three games, a vulnerability West Bridgewater are surely hoping to exploit. As for Nantucket, they will go up against Martha's Vineyard Regional. Nantucket are cruising in on a five-game winning streak while Martha's Vineyard Regional are stumbling in off of six consecutive losses.
