Stratton is a perfect 3-0 against Prairie since August of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Eagles will take on the Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. Stratton is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.
Stratton is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Colorado's top teams: Eads, who was ranked 13th at the time (Stratton was ranked seventh). Stratton breezed past Eads to the tune of 66-30 on Friday. With Stratton ahead 50-6 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Stratton's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Von Isenbart, who threw for 180 yards and three touchdowns, and also punched in one score on the ground. What's more, Isenbart racked up 177.1 passer rating, the most he's had since back in November of 2024. Drew Fox was in the mix too, providing Stratton with two TDs.
Stratton didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Eads to a completion percentage of just 44.4%. The team can thank Judson Isenbart for the heroic effort on defense: he. Stratton hasn't an opponent to post a completion percentage of 0.35 or higher in three consecutive matchups.
Stratton's defense didn't let Brantley Buller, get away unscathed either: they got into the backfield for four sacks. That dominant display was truly a team effort as four different players picked up one apiece. Isenbart got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 54 points the game before, Prairie was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. The game between the Mustangs and Peetz didn't end well, with the Mustangs falling 27-12. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
Prairie's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Stratton, their win bumped their record up to 6-2.
Friday's matchup might be decided on the ground. Stratton has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 190.9 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Prairie struggles in that department as they've been averaging 153.1 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's contest turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Everything came up roses for Stratton against Prairie in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 61-14 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
