Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Belvidere North). Everything went their way against the Rockford East E-Rabs on Friday as the Belvidere North Blue Thunder made off with a 57-34 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Blue Thunder have posted since December 3, 2024.

Defeat or not, Rockford East got some senior leadership from Promise Crawford and Aubrey Phillip. Crawford posted 15 points, while Phillip scored 11 points. That was a full 44.1% of Rockford East's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's put up more than a third of the team's points.

The victory snapped Belvidere North's losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 6-14 record. As for Rockford East, they dropped their record down to 2-18 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Belvidere North has already played their next matchup, a 68-18 defeat against Carmel on the 18th. As for Rockford East, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 52-6 loss against DeKalb on the 22nd.
