Bradley-Bourbonnais gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Marian Catholic Spartans a 12-0 shutout. The win continues a trend for the Boilermakers in their matchups with the Spartans: they've now won six in a row.

Lydia Hammond was a major factor no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 12 over five innings pitched.
