Softball Game Preview: Clear Falls Knights vs. Clear Brook Wolverines

Clear Falls is on a six-game streak of home losses, and Clear Brook a seven-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Friday. The Clear Falls Knights will host the Clear Brook Wolverines at 6:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

On Tuesday, Clear Falls came up short against Clear Springs and fell 6-3.

Clear Falls saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was P LaFrenz, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Meanwhile, Clear Brook lost 24-3 to Clear Creek on Tuesday.

Estrella Rowe made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Clear Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Clear Brook, their loss dropped their record down to 3-16.

Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Friday. Clear Falls hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.5 home runs per game. However, it's not like Clear Brook struggles in that department as they've been averaging 0.5 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.

Clear Falls beat Clear Brook 8-5 in their previous meeting back in March. Will the Knights repeat their success, or do the Wolverines have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
