Basketball Recap: Sierra Lutheran Comes Up Short

Sierra Lutheran lost against Incline back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Sierra Lutheran Falcons took a hard 77-59 fall against the Incline Highlanders. The Falcons' loss continues a trend for the team, making it six in a row.

Tommy Williams continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Incline, dropping a double-double on 37 points and ten rebounds. Williams' evening made it 16 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Colin Combs, who went 5 of 7 en route to 10 points and five rebounds.

Sierra Lutheran's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Incline, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-5.

Sierra Lutheran will challenge Coral Academy of Science - Reno at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Incline, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Pershing County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Pershing County is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.8 points per game this season.
