Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Walter Guaman and Michael Barreto Lead Disney II to Victory

The Disney II Titans earned a 2-0 win over the Islamic Foundation Chargers on Monday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Titans.

Disney II not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Islamic Foundation between 16 and 18 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-16.

Disney II was led to victory by Michael Barreto and Walter Guaman. Barreto had four aces and one block, while Guaman had 16 digs. Guaman is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had 16 or more in each of the last five games he's played.

Disney II pushed their record up to 13-6-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Islamic Foundation, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Disney II will challenge Chicago Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Islamic Foundation, they will take on Proviso West on Wednesday.
