Recap: Faith Lutheran Crusaders vs. Las Vegas Wildcats
On Friday, Faith Lutheran was fully in charge, breezing past Las Vegas 49-14 on the road.
Faith Lutheran's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Cale Breslin, who rushed for 125 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries. Breslin is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Garyt Odom, who rushed for 109 yards and a touchdown.
Faith Lutheran's win was their third straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 6-3. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 1-8 Durango and 2-7 Las Vegas (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 37% over those games). As for Las Vegas, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.
Faith Lutheran will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Las Vegas at 7:00 p.m. As for Las Vegas, they will head out on the road to face off against Faith Lutheran at 7:00 p.m.
