Volleyball Game Preview: Northwestern Bulls vs. North Miami Pioneers

Northwestern is 0-4 against North Miami since March of 2021 but things could change on Tuesday. The Bulls will be playing at home against the Pioneers at 3:30 p.m. North Miami took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Northwestern, who comes in off a win.

On Thursday, Northwestern made easy work of Booker T. Washington and carried off a 3-0 win.

While Northwestern won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-11, 26-24.

Meanwhile, North Miami unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of Homestead by a score of 3-2.

North Miami actually scored more points across those five sets (106-102), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-23, 23-25, 14-25, 15-12.

North Miami's defeat dropped their record down to 14-3. As for Northwestern, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.
