Recap: Wabash Apaches vs. Taylor Titans
The Wabash Apaches posted their biggest victory yet this season on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Taylor 65-28 at home. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 36-10.
Kierra Wilson continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. Janika Stumbo was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with three steals and two blocks.
The win got Wabash back to even at 11-11. As for Taylor, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-19.
Wabash will square off against Winamac at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Indiana (Winamac is ranked 203rd, while Wabash is ranked 224th). Taylor won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Sheridan at 7:00 p.m. on January 26th.
