Academy of the New Church skates past Barrack Hebrew Academy with ease

The Academy of the New Church Lions can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent match on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Barrack Hebrew Academy 82-26 on the road. With Academy of the New Church ahead 43-11 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Leading Academy of the New Church to victory were Ryan Warren and Cameron Smith. Warren scored 14 points along with seven rebounds, while Smith scored 14 points along with five rebounds. Smith continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Nolan Waldon, who scored nine points along with six steals.

Academy of the New Church has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. As for Barrack Hebrew Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Academy of the New Church won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Lawrenceville School at 5:45 p.m. on January 26th. Lawrenceville School is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Barrack Hebrew Academy, they will head out on the road to challenge Shipley at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
