Volleyball Recap: Lone Peak Knights vs. Farmington Phoenix

Lone Peak had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They had just enough and edged out the Farmington Phoenix 3-2. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Phoenix recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Lone Peak found their leader in sophomore Trevor Allen, who had 12 digs and two aces.

Lone Peak was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Farmington only served five aces.

Farmington's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Charlie Evans, who had 25 digs. Sam Alcala also deserves some recognition as he served his first aces of the season.

Lone Peak's win bumped their record up to 20-7. As for Farmington, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-8.

Lone Peak wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Westlake on the 9th. As for Farmington, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against American Fork on the 9th.
