Volleyball Recap: Opp Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Abree Kelley and Crislyn Birge + How To Watch

Opp was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Dothan Wolves. The Bobcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wolves apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Opp was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-23.

Despite the loss, Opp had strong showings from Crislyn Birge, who had 17 digs, and Abree Kelley, who had 11 digs.

Opp's defeat dropped their record down to 12-15. As for Dothan, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 25-11.

Coming up, Opp will head out on the road to face off against Pike Liberal Arts at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Dothan, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Charles Henderson at 4:00 p.m.
