Baseball Recap: Alpaugh Takes a Loss

Alpaugh lost against Laton two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Buffalos came up short against the Mustangs, falling 14-2. The defeat leaves the Buffalos still looking for their first win of the season.

Alpaugh's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Laton, their victory bumped their record up to 6-14-1.

Looking ahead, Alpaugh will be playing at home against Legacy Christian Academy at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Buffalos' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lions have averaged an impressive 8.7 runs per game this season. As for Laton, they will head out to face off against McFarland at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Mustangs are facing the Cougars at the right time seeing as the Cougars are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
