Soccer Recap: Maryvale's Losing Streak Snapped at Five Games

Maryvale kept a clean sheet against South Mountain on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the South Mountain Jaguars 1-0. The victory was some much needed relief for the Panthers as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Maryvale's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-9-1. As for South Mountain, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-8.

Maryvale's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for six straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
