Baseball Recap: Sports Leadership & Management Takes a Loss

Sports Leadership & Management was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They came up short against the Inlet Grove Hurricanes, falling 18-3.

Sports Leadership & Management's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Inlet Grove, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-8.

Looking ahead, Sports Leadership & Management will welcome Highlands Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Inlet Grove, they are taking a road trip to take on Lincoln Park Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Greyhounds have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.93 runs per game on average), something the Hurricanes will no doubt try to take advantage of.
