Flag Football Recap: Jordan Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Jordan's offense. They were outmatched by the Millikan Rams and fell 34-0. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 228th, while the Rams are ranked 110th).

The defeat snapped Jordan's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-5 record. As for Millikan, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Jordan will take on rival Compton at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Panthers 11, the Tarbabes 6.4) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Millikan is set to challenge their familiar foe Woodrow Wilson at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
