Basketball Recap: Northview Academy Comes Up Short

Northview Academy suffered their closest loss since February 16, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of the Fulton Falcons by a score of 75-72. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Thursday (68), the Cougars still had to take the loss.

Northview Academy's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-8. As for Fulton, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-11.

Northview Academy will host Gatlinburg-Pittman at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Northview Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 19 games -- so hopefully Gatlinburg-Pittman likes a good challenge. As for Fulton, they will head out on the road to square off against Sevier County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
