Volleyball Recap: Glennallen Comes Up Short

After flying high against Nenana last Thursday, Glennallen came back down to earth. The Panthers fell just short of the Sand Point Eagles/Lady Eagles by a score of 1-0 on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 3-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.

Glennallen's loss dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Sand Point, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Looking ahead, Glennallen will take on Ninilchik in a tournament on Friday. As for Sand Point, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 1-0 defeat against Unalaska on the 9th.
