Baseball Recap: Biloxi Takes a Loss

Biloxi lost against Harrison Central back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Indians took an 11-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Red Rebels. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jackson Irvin was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. Gavin Humphries also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Biloxi's defeat dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Harrison Central, their victory ended an eight-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-18.

While Biloxi had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
