Basketball Recap: Newberry Academy Picks Up Sixth Straight Win at Home

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Newberry Academy). They blew past the Whitmire Wolverines 53-33 on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Newberry Academy has posted since February 2nd.

Whitmire's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Seth Rueter, who posted eight points. Another player making a difference was Freddy Higgins, who earned six points and eight rebounds.
